What's your best pickup technique or tactic? Personally, I love negs... I use them every time I sarge.

I didn't vote, mainly because you just can't have one component of a sarge without another.

For a PU to be successful, I believe that you need a bit of everything, and without one part, the outcome could be completely different.

I say cocky and funny with lotsa kino. that helps soooo much.

For 9 1/2' s and 10's negs seem to work best, although a really good cocky/funny pattern would definitely worked in your interest if she starts showing IOI's when you started switching up your routine.

I gotta go with Cocky Funny, for me its the best thing that seems to work with negs. I am currently trying to work out the best method for me but I have just been having bad luck in sarging. I don't even wanna post a field report for tonight... it was THAT BAD. Picture a nuclear bomb going off in a desert ... times that by 20. Nothing seems to be working, I even switched back at one point to alil AFC to see if even that got me anywhere. At least it didn't get worse when I AFCed and bought a drink. Like I was desperate to find something to work. Its hard to look confident when you are getting crushed every step of the way. I think my ego on a scale from 1 to 10 .... 1 being a 40 year old virgin AFC and 10 being Style, or Mystery or any guru. I am at like a -6.5 ... without the virgin status. But then again ... I guess its all about learning even when you fail. ....

cocky and funny is very solid base but with 9's and 10's you need to add some negs and also DHV.

I'm fine with opening using cocky-funny and negs but how do you guys step your game after that?

It all depends on the situation. You can't use the same method with each set. It depends on if they've been drinking, how many of them there are, the mood, if there's AMOGs around, if you have a wingman, if it's loud, if it's crowded, etc...etc...etc....
In a typical nightclub environment, on a typical set of 4 HBs lets say, and cocky-funny and shotgun negs are working, I usually try some DHV and direct it toward the target. Then if I feel she took the bait and has attraction (remember FMAC) I then try to isolate the target. If she is responding well I close. If the place is a sausage party, I spend more time with the target and gain sick rapport. If there are a lot of other girls there- I gain as much rapport time permits, close quickly, and move on.

a little bit of everything i would say...
though you can never forget that every gal is different, so just keep your eyes open and try to see what is her type.. in my opinion those 5-10m that you are "looking" at her, before start conversation are essencial.. you don't imagine the amount of things you can get from that time... of course afterwards things can be complete different, but study a bit before, it always helps, that's what i think.

If your using the cocky funny you are DHV and almost any PUA that use cocky funny use negs , and to get somewhere you have to get kino so , i guess everythign is a part of the structure of your game.
