What's up, I'm really new around here (and new to the PUA community in general). I have an introduction thread, if you want to know anything about me you can find it there.

So my roommate set me up on a blinddate, and at first I said no way because I didn't want to get stuck with some ugly chick at dinner for 2 hours, but he linked me to her facebook, and she's an HB8, so I decided to do it. Plus, she's in med school, and smart girls are totally my thang.

Anyway, what are your thoughts on blind dates? I've got a lot of rehearsed material to use, should I just approach the whole thing like I'm meeting her at a bar?

Or should I treat this in between a Day 1 and a Day 2 scenario, go really easy on the negs, not so flashy with the routines, and just try to build comfort?

Any gurus care to offer me some advice?

No, do not approach her as in a bar. You won't need any openings in this case, seeing as it is a date.

What I would advise is using negs, not to tease her based on looks or anything, but to make it clear to her that although you're comfortable about talking to her, earning your trust is a different matter. This also means to save kino for a second or third date.

Sense of humor is compulsory, of course.

I'm actually not sure why she's going on a blind date with me. My roommate who set us up showed us eachother's myspaces/facebooks. I like to think it's cause my page is awesome haa

Yeah, was actually an HB7. Just played it cocky and funny, stayed friendly, and threw her a few compliments towards the end. Built up the kino on a park bench with some hand holding after dinner. Goodnight kiss closed it. I know that's prolly the worst kiss close but I got two kisses so I'll take it as a good sign

just be your self , since everything is already set up. Be yourself , relate to the HB , so therefore she will find that you and her have something in common, and also tease , and kino her.
