I just have a question and would like to find out if I'm the only one that has this.

Everytime I know that I'm going out on that day, I feel like a kind of fear/nervousness in me.If I say going out I don't mean to the local mall, or so.I mean when I go clubbing.Especially clubbing.
Obviously I'm just there for the women, I hate clubs beside that. But I'm just nervous, when I drive there, when I get out of my car, when I'm in the que.Once I'm in it settles down. But I hate this feeling and I don't know what it is associated with.If I sit down and think about it, I can't find one thing that I'm actually scared of.

Anyone else have this kind of thing or am I just mad?
I am like on level 2 now, got all the theory in my head, just gotta start making things happen.I have no problem talking to women once I'm talking.

you shouldn't ever drink before pick up because it hurts your game you don't think as clearly as you can and what you have is called approach anxiety and you can't cure approach anxiety with achocol i might give you the courage but it just fucks up your game.

keep it cool man. what you have is absolutely normal. besides, many of us are sort of shy (that's why we are RAFC) and clubs may not be our favorite environment. Just do it and stop thinking about it. After some more time sarging you will feel like going home when going out.

good luck.

Get used to the place .Start building up conversations to unknown persons, talk to the staff people, make the club your home , get used to it.

:D That will help...

Well it's alright to drink. I mean I go out and sarge while drinking. The key is just not to get waisted beyond control.

Heh. I have to drink a LOT before I'm actually drunk, and I find that I calibrate really well while under the influence. If only I could remember how to calibrate myself when I'm sober again. ^__^

There is something I read that applies, I think, to approach anxiety. Fear is just Friendly Energy Announcing Risk. It is your body's way of informing you that you are about to do something in which you could be harmed. With approach anxiety in particular, your body is warning you that you may be rejected. It happens, even to the best of us, and your body wants to prepare you for that before it happens. When you get that surge of fear, interpret it logically: "My friendly energy is informing me that there is a potential for risk in the activity I am about to undertake. As I understand that risk, I can acknowledge and affirm that friendly energy, and then ignore it." I find that this allows me to in fact harness my approach anxiety and use the energy it provides to my direct benefit.

Exactly, but thats what this game is all about. Its a rush to do something that may harm us, or may be extremely benificial. The reward reaps the loss. if you play a perfect or even semi-perfect game you will notice the difference.

completely normal. stick with it, and you'll find that fear turns into an exciting adrenaline rush- like the first time you go rock climbing, your back 400feet off the ground. that same fear turns to addiction.

Style and Mystery are Style and Mystery. They are decidedly not Monkey.

I understand that game is typically better played sober for most guys. It will probably be true of me at some point as well, but for now I find that I can get into a much better frame with a drink or two (note, not drunk, just feeling good) than without. As I typically sarge after a day of work, it helps release a bit of tension and get me ready for the night.

Day game should ALWAYS be sober though. There's nothing less attractive in a library than the smell of scotch. ^__^ In fact, avoid scotch at the bars too; girls don't like the smell. Enjoy scotch by yourself, as shown by my ranting first Field Report.

Mystery and style rule is nothing more than 2 drinks , the thing here is that alchol reduce your time of reaction... And girls do hate drunk guys so try not to drink that much.
