Wassup all,

I've been doing a bit of lurking recently, but I thought I'd get some input on this recent caper.

Quick outline, I was out with friends on Thursday night, and it was about 11:30. We had just left the pub we were at and were talking outside the front entrance (it was about to close) when a group of 3 guys stumbles up to us and asks if we knew where a bottle shop was. At first I just gave them casual directions like "oh yeah, it's in the mall, just walk that way --->", then i noticed this cute little HB8 was trailing along with them, so I grabbed her attention and started giving her more in-depth directions. Lucky for me, the bar staff came out and said that if the guys were quick then they could buy booze from inside, so the guys all headed inside and I started gaming the girl. Anyway, we chatted for a quick couple of minutes, I did some quick kino then the guys stumbled back out and they're like "where can we get some juice for this vodka?" so I point them towards a 7-11 about 50m down the street and they start walking of saying to the HB8 "hey, lets go, get some juice blah blah blah". I thought she'd just be like "ok, bye" but instead she kinda paused and looked at me a little confused, so I just yelled out "yeah, she'll meet you there in a few minutes" and they walked off. So we kept chatting for a few more minutes and then I said "hey, you should go catchup with your friends, but I'd like to stay in touch". She didn't have her phone on her, but she gave me her number and we parted ways.

Soooooo, anyway, I sent her a text the next day using that opener "Out of all the HB8s I know...you're my favourite. How was the pub crawl?".
A few hours later I get a reply "Sorry, who is this?" and I said "This is Achtung, we met last night when you were looking for a bottle shop". Then she's like "Oh hey you. Sorry for the late reply. I'll save your number now "
So I wait a couple of hours and reply back with "An longer and I would have forgotten you you don't want to be forgotten, do you?".

Now in hindsight I think I should have just left it at the , and dropped the question on the end cause she replies back with "Ugh dont flatter yourself", which kinda put me on the backfoot. So I sent her a text back saying "haha, that wasn't my intention ".

Anyway, I feel as though I'm kinda losing the connection here, since we only chatted for a short time on Thursday night I doubt I was able to reach a good hook point.

I'd like to get her out again (well, get her out for the first time at least), mainly because I'd like to see if I can actually get a complete stranger that I've had about 10 minutes of dialogue with on the street to feel like she wants to meet up. However, I'm a little unsure about where to go from here. An opinion opener text to get conversation moving again? Just call her and see if she wants to meet up? I'm rather unsure about calling her, since like I said, we haven't had much interaction yet.

Thoughts? Comments?

i dont really have many tips coz im kinda new to the community but ill tell u what i did in that situation.. i met an hb8 in town 1 night.. same sort of situation first met her for a couple minutes got her number real fast got some quick kino in bt when i was txting her she was losing heat.. it was kinda afc talk really im not too great with txting but i said "hey whn u r next going into town? u gotta give me a txt we gotta meet up again!" she seemed happy to do so and when we meet up that friday things went allgood and it was good because im better at creating a bond with chicks when its face to face but txting just aint my specialty

i guess you could do the same just ask if shes going out this weekend and if she is tell her to txt you when shes in town so you guys can meet up again..

Here is what i would do:

- i think she was teasing you with that txt, you were being CF (Cocky and Funny) and she was playfully replying
- she apologized for replying late, and you waited 2 hours to respond back
- If you want to make sure you point gets across or if your being cocky funny, put a or a smile at the end of the txt - that way she knows you are being playful
- talk to her ASAP, you want her to be thinking of you because she has no choice
- tell her you are going on an adventure next weekend, and she should tag along if she wants to have fun
