I think I may have been "NEXT"ed
Here goes:
Met this girl fri night, shared taxi ride to a certain location(times are tough), got her number(to do "dinner"), gave her a missed call,
She got off.
yesterday give her call, left VM.

She texts back:
"This # was assigned to me hg some weeks ago so if youre trying to reach someone else you have the wrong #."

So she didn't save my number which is whatever but Great! I am screwed. Waited about 3 days for phone/txt so another mess up.

I idiotly text back
"hey hg, forgot me already? i was talking to this cool girl on this great ride over the road some evenings ago while there was an agreement shakespeares play is awesome. rmr be now? haha."

I think I made the above text so long it was a mess up and that wasnt the best text to send back...so now

Now I don't think she has replied. I have 2 options, next her now even though I got next'ed, or text her back in few days pretend I never sent the above text and write

"hey hg, this is blahblah, it was nice meeting you at blah blah and this taxi ride was cool" and maybe add "how are you?" or should i do something else?
What do ya'll think as a second opinion? Can I recover?
I'll take the flame, critiscism and the help too! I feel like giving it another try as I have nothing to lose at this point, I will keep gaming elsewhere but there is always a chance and persistence.

I was thinking now that I should try to re-open by texting her:
"Hey hg, it is Signmeit, nice meeting you fri night! My cousin and I were arguing about how dangerous the corner of xst and xave are, whats your thought?"
or
Hey hg, it is Signmeit, nice meeting you fri night! Congrats on your apt in xx, neighbor"


If this yields no response then I will bow out of this number.

yea dude i do advocate to keep trying if there are still ioi's and what not, but when there is just nothing its time to pack it up. Give it one more shot.

Your second post/idea of reopening is good, the other stuff: Is not. Think about things from the girl's perspective, don't be stuck in your own world. She's 'nexted' you, and you're showing neediness by keeping on texting back lame shit (in her view).

Best way is to either call her and do something unique, or text her something unique. To be honest I would say don't chase a bad set and move on to the next girl but since you seem to want to keep on chasing this chick, text her with something unique Eg:

-Hey Sarah, I heard something about you.

Then go from there.

Or you could go apocalypse style as you have nothing to lose. Oftentimes a girl will 'next' you because you missed your chance to escalate with her when she wanted it. If you hit her again with bare sexual shit she may eat it up when she's feeling horny. I have't field tested this last part so use it at your own risk. Hope this helps.

ah thanks. Well I am moving on from that set. I am just seeing if it can be taken further..most likely not. I am also trying to overtime figure out if you are "next'ed" can it be saved by sending various manipulative texts, which ones work and which ones don't aside from "sarging" into other sets.

She replied back to me 15-20 mins later:
"thanks its been stressful and hope to close it by end of the month. cant really respond now am at work."

this was yesterday. I have not replied to her and don't know how I should reply to her, any tips?
