Hi guys, I am relatively new to this and I need some objective advice.

I've immersed myself in this whole PUA ideal for the past week and I love the idea. I've read the game and read up on quite a few techniques to help me with my game. While all the techniques and routines i've read about seem effective, many of them seem a bit to corny for me. I've always seen myself as the classy guy that walks into a bar and everyone looks and says, wow he must be classy. I don't think I want to change into someone who does magic tricks or reads palms.

I guess my questions is this.... what happened to being a gentleman and seducing a girl through your class/body language/sophisticated vocab or taste for topshelf liquors. Does it always have to be about looking crazy and being so unique that she cant help but fall for you? I guess I'd rather be like james bond than like eddie muprhy.

The idea of most methots is that girls like guys who are funny and make them fell good.
But about the whole PUA thing you dont need and to change your personality, you should just absorb what you need and be like you are...aniway girls dont like guy who act diferent than what they are!

Okay, this one is pretty easy actually.

Why PUA's have moved away from "James Bond" and more toward "Eddie Murphy" is pretty simple. For the past 30 years people have been trying to be like "James Bond" when they pick up a HB. Through smooth talking and amazing knowledge of food, wine, dancing, jewelry, ect... Unfortunately for the males of the species this has become the most common thing out there. Guys walk up and order a woman a drink or take them to a fancy restaurant, opening the door, pulling out their chair, and paying for their meal.

Women have gotten used to this. It happends all day every day! The HB's out there want something that isn't Common. They want a standout guy who will suprise and excite them while still being interesting.

So why can't you just be "James Bond" smooth? Cause it won't work. Women won't bite unless you ARE James Bond and have all the wealth and toys of MI6.

That is why we strive to be PUA's... to find out what does work and use that.

Like a bag of golf clubs - chose a tool for the job. Granted a knowledge of fine wine isn't going to be used all the time but a well rounded individual who can talk about many different things lets someone improvise when talking to a woman. Gives you something to discuss and an easy ice breaker - woman with glass of wine in a beer and shot bar - you stand out by knowing a little bit about it.

All knowledge is useful.

You invent your character. I think you can totally be classy, but you need to express that.

PS, you can DEFINITELY peacock in class way. If pick up an old school pinstripe jacket (think gangster movies), through a classy-casual hat on top, or pick up a nice necklace. If you have the money, a blingin Rolex would an awesome peacock IMO
