Dude I got taught this focusing technique that might help:
1. Look Straight ahead.
2. Notice any two objects that might be in your vision at that time and notice there existence.
3. From the centre point, imagine or know whats beyond it, then whats beyond that etc. Until your descriptions because stupidly vague.
4. All this time keep the original objects within your vision and your mind.
This helps me to relax when im feeling a bit stressed out, it gives you time to focus and relax on other things. Its particulaly good for AA as the seminar that this technique is from is from that seminar, but ive noticed it helps pretty much anywhere.
Also if your over stressing this meditation technique can help:
1. Sit in a quiet room on your knees, like your about to curl up, but sit up straight.
2. Close your eyes.
3. Start taking breaths throught your nose in and out, be sure to focus purely on the breathing nothing out no distractions
4. You'll notice with practise you can do this for hours without knowing the time has passed and at the end you feel 100% relaxed, no tension, no stress just pure arrrrrrr.
