Alright let me just say right off the bat im not at all a fan of Ross Jefferies or his methods... I find him creepy as hell, and i dont see how he gets any girls. That being said, I was watching this show on hypnotism that happend to seek him out in order to have his speed seduction demonstrated to them....

The routine that Jefferies had him use was this:

Dude: Hi there Im _____ you have the most amazing energy about you.

I was not at all impressed with the quality of this. Does that come off to anyone but me as creepy and somewhat weak? I mean, I know girls love energy and psychological stuff or whatever but seriously? to open with that just doesnt seem very effective to me, and the guy he had using it went 1/4... which isnt terrible, but isnt amazing either.

So my question is this: what do you guys think of that opener? Has this ever been field tested by anyone other than Jefferies??? Does something like this actually work???

I prefer to go with something situational, if the girls looking at a car you make a comment about it and then go from there, same with a magazine or whatever else happens to be in your surroundings.... failing that Id honestly go with Hi before Id resort to the Jefferies opener... what do you guys think? Is it garbage or am i wrong on this one?

Obviously he's either a natural or the material works. I think it all depends on the different methods you prefer. What I do know is that the true MPUA's have all made a 'method' of their own!

Obviously they're not all of them but I think you get the picture! Even Neil Strauss made his own, even though he essentially bended and twisted the Mystery Method!

What I'm trying to say is that you shouldn't just limit yourself to one method, instead you should learn as much as possible and take the points from each that work best for your and recreate your own method of pickup!

And by the way, it's not fraud or plagerism(initially)...Seeing as all they did was bring to light the natural human mannerisms responsible for attraction! Obviously I'm not knocking any of them on that...I wouldn't have even thought of it!

The problem is that you are still focusing on the words, as if the words being said have some innate power to seduce.

One of my favorite quotes is by Sean Stephenson, he said "Anything will work, if YOU believe it will work".

Pickup is not about lines and catchphrases. Openers are not meant to attract or seduce, they are only meant to introduce. Openers allow you to start conversing and start using your game/social skills.

If you've seen ross jeffries videos (some of which are on youtube if your interested), you'll find he mainly uses NLP and a good understanding of women's emotions/responses to pickup. The opener is unimportant, because he has the skills to foster attraction afterward. You can have the best openers ever written, but if that's all that you have women will lose interest in a heartbeat. The opposite is also true; if you have a really lame opener but good game/social skills, they will forget all about the lame part. Tyler once said "Attraction is gained and lost in seconds, not minutes or hours. "
