The main reason I'm angry is cause they love religion more than me (PM me for details). This anger consumes too much of my energy and sometimes when I'm working it interupts me and I get distracted.
Please tell me something cause the therapist wasn't much help and my parent's don't really care about it. I've tried talking to my parents but they don't want to compromise since they think God is on their side.

He didn't want to have anything to do with me. No matter what I did or tried. The cocksucker didn't even have the balls to just tell me... I wasted years.
It's probably not a far stretch for you to imagine that their are some really shitty people in this world. Think about it. Aren't they're people that you've met or can imagine, that you'd want to keep a good mile distant from?
Now consider this... SOmetimes one of us end up with these people as parents. How many years are you willing to set aside to deal with their dis-function?
I moved on. But one last weird thing... You can't actually fully move on till you forgive....
Not easy. Good luck bro..

Last weekend I was proud of myself for not yelling or arguing with them once, but this weekend I snapped. It's really all just resistance. You (and I) need to accept our parents, accept that they will not change, and take care of yourself. When they yell at you for meaningless shit, don't react. Just answer calmly. Don't ignore, but be assertive. Do not raise your voice..just be totally grounded in yourself. This is exactly how you deal with an AMOG, btw. Read the book The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle if you want to get a better sense of all this. Very good book. -cshadyp
