As stated in a few previous posts.
Openers aren't about getting them to like you, they are just about attention.
Anything that is NOT one of the following is probably alright:
1. Compliment So no saying she is "Hot"
2. Sexual So no saying you want to poke her in the butt.
3. Incomprehensible So no saying "Umm..I...chickens....wee"
4. Insulting So no saying "I could smell your c*** from there"
5. Boring/common So no saying "Hey, whats your major?"
Outside of that I think your pretty safe.
If it makes sense to the situation that is MUCH better though. I mean there are thousands of easy openers if you just look for one.
Here are a couple and I haven't even seen any of the women.
"Hey, know of any place to get a decent cup of coffee around here?"
*easily followed by invitation to*
"You wouldn't believe the size of my walkin closet I got in my room!"
*hehe noone in a dorm gets a walk in closet.. they would totally have to check it out*
"Where can I get a good stiff drink?"
"Could I see your meal card for a minute I think mine is broke"
If you see one unhappy you say "Just got your schedule huh?"
she answers affirmative and you say "Ahh.. yeah, finding out you have no classes with me can be a real bummer"
And my personal Favorite
Big Smile approaching a HB in the dorm lobby: "Hello, What floor are you on?"
HB :"Blah"
Your Smile gets bigger: "Well that is just great, I'm Bob the unofficial Resident Advisor for that floor. You can come to me with any questions you may have about the campus or social goings-on."
She may not know it... but You happen to be the unofficial RA of Every floor.
Anyway, all I am saying is there are an infinite amount depending on the situation. Openers only break the ice and get her to focus on you.
If you wanna meet new people and you are moving into the dorms then there are a few Actions you can do aswell.
At my campus we had a volleyball court right behind the dorms. Start a volleyball game or join in one and meet all the players. Bring a frisbee and start a game of that (There are always ultimate frisbee leagues or some shit at school, when you go in look for a flier for them and say you are practicing your throw for it)
Hell, you could sit out on the lawn catching some rays in a kiddy pool if you damn well wanted too. Make sure you have some nice sunglasses, a lawn chair IN the pool, and the thick Zinc sunscreen stuff for your nose. make it obvious why you are there.
I hope this helps.
Just have fun and be confident.
