I have the problem of dating a girl for a short period of time, having a supposed clean break, and then finding myself wanting one of her closest friends. I feel like I am getting an IOI from the friend only to hit a brick wall when my ex moves in and guilts her friend for even talking to me. I have tried punishing the friend by talking to other girls when we are all out and have found that it only pisses them off that I would talk to another girl when she and my ex are both there. I have also tried sending in a wing to remove the ex from the picture and they immediately know what I am up to. Usually I only get one or two shots at the friend till my ex completely takes her out of the scenario by not bringing her out when I going, so I need to make my shots more worthwhile. Any recommendations?

Try telling her you want to show her this cool thing. Isolate and use an ESP routine. That's the vibe I get anyway, you just need a reason to isolate and then, on her own she should open up.
