I haven't had any friends since my freshman year of high school. Now i am about to go to college for my freshman year. Is it still possible to become a pua with scars on my arms from self-mutilation. I didn't know about "The Game" at the time and I was heading down the deep end.

Yes, your scars can be a talking point. In fact, there is a post about using scars. Do a search for it. Besides that they insite some pretty nice mystery.

Also, it isn't looks that matter so much (yes they DO matter, just not as much as AFC's think.)

Now, if you don't like to talk about them then you Want to keep it a mystery for awhile. Go with that instinct. If she says "Um, so how did you get those scars?" You say "Maybe I will tell you later, if you earn it" or something like that.

Napolean Dynamite is a wealth for PUA-ness.. he has no fear.

"What's with the scars?"
"I was in training to be a knife fighter"

lol, I like that reply. See I have ahard time coming up with comments like that. But I don't know about the whole mystery thing. It's going to be really awkward when they see my scars cuz they'll think that I'm some kind of emo guy or somethin (and I'm defnitely not emo). Plus its like a huge DLV right from the start. And I also don't have any social proof whatsoever.

have you tried Juggler's method? Tell her the truth with a lot of feelings and emotions. You can tell her that life is worth living and you've been through hell and back etc etc. I don't recommend this unless you've created a pretty close bond w/ the girl and a great conversationalist.

Until then just wear a long sleeve shirt to cover it up, then lift them up whenever u see fit. She'll ask you if and will most likely know what they're from so don't even bother b/sing.

I dunno, just my 2 cents.

And if you have the money, and it is a really big deal to you, and lowers your confidence, scars like that can be removed surgically...My uncle did this because he had scars on his legs from falling on glass. It wasn't so much that other people cared about them, It was the fact that it made him feel less confident, and looking at them was a constant reminder of a painful experience.
