Lately I've been hanging out with this girl who I met through an AOL chat room. One night I was in there and someone brought up the topic of anal sex, and I made a joke about it. Next thing you know, some stranger is sending me an IM. Her name is Robyn. So we start talking and, after a while, I say, "So what made you decide to IM me tonight, Robyn? Did my comments about anal sex intrigue you?" She responded with a simple LOL. We continued to talk over the next couple weeks. One night our discussion turned to drinking and I told her how I had at least a case worth of beer that had been sitting around my place since early July. Then I said, "The only thing more pathetic than having beer sit around that long would be to start drinking it alone....you wanna share a few with me?" And that was how I got over to her house the first time. There wasn't much physical contact...we held hands for a while...sat there with my arm around her while we watched a movie. Hell, I even wound up spending the night, but no sex...not even a kiss close or anything. But you know what...I didn't mind it. To me it was great to just hang out with this cool chick who seemed to be on the same wavelength as me. (She is just as bitter and pissed off at the world and cynical like me, plus she has a similarly deranged sense of humor.)

But anyway, the point of this post is not to discuss my lack of F- or kiss-close. It's to discuss something that happened the other night. We were hanging out and, out of the blue, she said, "I think I'm going to get myself some flowers tomorrow." I kinda chuckled and said, "uh...okay. Why?" And she said, "Well, because nobody else does!" Then she went on to say what kind of flower she liked and so on. I didn't make any comments.

My question is: am I being shit-tested here? Or should I take that as a sublty dropped hint and maybe bring her some? It's confusing because THE GAME talks about being shit tested...but then I think it was Deangelo who said you ought to do things that show the woman you were thinking about them. And picking her up a couple flowers before I head over would certainly do that.

What do you guys think?

Is she your girlfriend? Have you made out with her? Have you had sex with her?

What would getting her flowers mean?

"I mention flowers.. he got me flowers... maybe tomorrow I'll mention chocolate.. then the day after that a nice bracelet.. then maybe a car"

It's called compliance momentum.

Get her flowers when YOU want to get her flowers. When she has demonstrated enough value to you that she is WORTHY of flowers and that you become the value-giver (who is inherently high value) rather than the little bitch that gives away all their value.

Excellent points Dex. Next time someone does something like that to ya, make sure that you tell her all the info on what flowers YOU like (But I don't like flowers blah doesn't matter, mention one and remember it.) The next day when your talking ask her why she didn't get you any flowers kinda like so:

PUA: Looks agast as she is walking up "Where are my flowers?"
HB: "What?"
PUA: "Relax, I didn't actually expect you to get me flowers. But... after how you were so intent upon finding out what type of flowers I liked yesterday, any other person would expect to receive them. Wouldn't you? I hope you atleast remember what kind of flowers I like. You do remember, don't you?"

C&F ... and if she starts getting actually angry you can always bring up the fact that You remember HER favorite.

There's really two levels to all of this...

1) Don't be an AFC
2) Be a PUA

Yeah I figured it would be AFC behavior to get her the flowers. Like I said, I haven't even had a frickin' kiss-close yet. I just wanted to consult some of you guys before I made any mistakes. Right now I am still in my novice PUA stage.

Oh, I thought of another part of that evening which might be a shit test. Well, that's what a friend of mine thinks, but I don't agree.

Earlier that night we were walking around her neighborhood and went by a liquor store that had a sign in the window about Mad Dog. Robyn started saying there was a particular flavor of Mad Dog which, when mixed with Mountain Dew, made a kickass drink. So I was thinking that the next time I go over there, I will bring those two items with me.

Now here is where the question comes in. My buddy thinks bringing this stuff over after she mentioned it would be AFC behavior. However, I disagree because I will be getting use out of the Mad Dog too. I feel that if I brought it over and said "oh hey I remember you said you liked this," then left without taking even one swig of it myself, THAT would be AFC behavior.

Any thoughts?

If she suggests something is good and then next time she sees you, you've got it.. that's AFC behaviour. But it's not necessarily a shit test. Unless she goes "wow, I feel like some of that right now actually" and then you go buy it.

What to do:

- suggest she bring some around some time
- when she next comes around, have your own drink mix made up. Say something like "Hey, I know you mentioned that mad dog drink, but try this, it's 100x better"

and if you want to know a cocktail that's 100x better:

- peach flavoured vodka (in Europe a brand called Keglevich sells this)
- blue curucao
- top up with sprite
- ice

It's bright blue, which looks cool, and it leaves a soft peach taste in your mouth. girls love it and even guys who are "hardcore beer drinkers" will say it tastes good. Experiment with proportions.

Also, the peach vodka we use here is about 20% alcohol. It's not 'infused', but 'flavoured'. I've tasted some 'infused' vodkas before which barely taste like what they're meant to taste like.. again, experiment with whatever your local bottle shop has. Peach Schnapps or maybe even a liquer should suffice if you can't get peach flavoured vodka.

That's great, thanks for the advise. But one question: where do I buy the blue curucao stuff?

you should be able to buy it anywhere - it's a pretty standard cocktail mix (anything blue usually has it in it)

I believe in North America BOLS makes a variety (it's a blue bottle)
