hey guys i was thinking most of the time approach anxiety is caused by the fear of being harmed if we failed the approach. so i think one of the great way to help ppl get over AA is to show them what is the worst thing that can happen if we got rejected. here is some of my my experience.

- the girl walk straight passed me, totally ignored my existence.
- the girl starts talking and acting sarcastic towards me.
- a guy walk up and said "she's my gf", i walked away with an apology
- the girl says she has no time and walk away (in response to opinion opener)

those above are my worst experience so far... so what are your worst experience in the approach?

We've talked about rejection a lot here, it's always a positive thing. A fair few of the girls who have turned me down in the first place have asked me for my number a matter of weeks or months down the line... as for the ones who didn't, I've never given them a second thought. Guys just need to realise that rejection is not only inevitable, but necessary - you're not supposed to be with every girl you talk to. A lot of them just aren't right for you, some are manipulative, and some just aren't nice people. Anyone who thinks rejection is a bad thing needs their head seen to.

Responses You Could Have Used:

- She walks past you. You could've said, "Hey! I wanted to ask you where
the restroom was..."

- She talks and acts sarcastic to you. You could've said, "Someone forgot
to take her Ritalin tonight." Throwing her off. Also, remember what you just
wrote... SHE STARTED TALKING TO YOU!!! If she did not want you to stay
there, she would have just blown you off... right...

- Guy says she's his GF. You could've said, "Hey man, nice to meet you.
I'm glad she has a BF, I was just coming over here to offer my company
so the losers in here would not come up to her and make her all nervous
and shit, ya know..."

This will dis-arm him, and you can now just carry on a conversation with
him and her talking about basically nothing. The main thing here is to find
out if HE IS IN FACT HER BF... or if he is just a FRIEND of hers that goes
out with her just to keep the PUA's away from her by being the AMOG for her.

- She has no time and walks away. If she walks away. Just smile and
immediately open another set. She might in fact not have the time, and is
either leaving, or is meeting friends there that just shown up.

If she met up with friends, then later on in the night, go to her table with
her friends and run your routines.


NOTE: Always remember start the convo from "over the shoulder" like
you were just passing by and wanted to ask them something that is on
your mind.

This shows that you are not invading their space, and gives the false impression
that you will not be there long.

Be sure to throw in the line, "I can't stay long, I just wanted to ask you all
something..."

"Hey, I'm glad I found you here. What happened to your sister the other
night? I heard she fell off the back of the truck at the beach."
(hope her sister was NOT at the beach XD)

She will then say, "I don't have a sister." (open conversation)

They laugh, (open conversation)

She gets upset and says, "What!? She did?"
(put her at ease, with this)...

"Oh wait, you're not Tammy... my bad." (and smile)

From here, you have lasted at least 20 seconds in the set. You can either
escalate the convo, or you can leave the set and open another one.
