when i was younger, i would hold back at talking to girls, for various reasons, just had that teen approach anxiety that would freeze me out. when i got sick of it i decided id overcome this and without really noticing i kind of became a natural in about 6 months. i had a week game but i was so confident in myself that sets would just fly open. id never heard of the community but i still had a commitment to change. i needed to become stronger, not physically but mentally. i started doing martial arts and found the "venusian arts" kind of at the very same time

as it says in mystery's book, they do have a lot in common, but the thing is, it has given me confidence, not from one night to another, but every day i just walk a little bit taller and feel more and more secure. a year ago i had no game and could get amoged by anyone. now, the only person that could amog me, is my trainer, along with solid game, i can say my life has changed. it's true, pick up is more than just picking up women. its about making a life.

I'm not saying that go and become a UFC fighter, but if you have deep confidence and inner game issues, try martial arts. muay thai or MMA should do. its nice to walk into a club and know that you are safe, that no one in there can harm you. i never ever get that feeling of "what if she has a big ass boyfriend". now its kinda like well i hope his boyfriend doesnt try to act supid or....(by the way, ive never got into a fight, so that BS ideas that girls boyfriends can kick your ass... their all in your head) This also helps your game: gives you confidence like hell (rock solid one)makes you super fit (as in having an eightpack, sixpacks and beer bellys is for loosers) and gives you a lot to talk about, theres nothing like going out to game after you have finished training. try it!

hope this helps. just wanted to share this with you guys.

I've always wanted to do MA.
But I never had the money/time.
I think I'm going to start soon.
I want to put on some more weight first.

You have a very good point. I've been practicing a little bit of Muay thai with a friend, and going to a TKD class at my gym. I haven't been fully commited to them this semester, but you have just motivated me to give them another shot. Thanks buddy.
