So the other day I was at this party. There was a HB 8.5 there and I ignored her because I want her. My and my buddy (his house) were playing chess and I lost 3 times. The group I was with (my ride home) decides that it's time to go. Upon announcing our departure, HB 8.5 looks me right in the eyes and says "Are you leaving too?". She seemed disappointed.

Didn't get any IOIs that I know of other than the puppy dog look as she asked if I was leaving...WTF? I should have opened her. AA!!!

Doesn't seem to have a bitch shield either.

Pretty sure I blew it.

It was my buddy's house and they (HB 8.5 and 2 other friends) were playing some drinking game. I was playing chess because my buddy just started playing it, we were all just hangin out and smoking. I guess she lives right down the street from my friend.

EDIT: I shouldn't neg her if she doesn't have a bitch shield and treats me equally, right?

That night f-close in the back of my car! thank you chess! I would recommend using the party to open her. Then use chess as a point to CF on. As for negs I am still learning about that.

You could play drinking chess, where you take a drink every time you loose a player. Anyway, the chess matter is beside the point.

As some others have said, you shouldn't have ignored her the whole party. Ignoring is usually used in the form of a freeze out, something to break down LMR. You should have opened her and got chatting, otherwise she'll think you're too cool or just not interested.

Actually, if he did some good anchoring when talking about the pleasure and tension and kept strong eye contact the whole time it would be a great AG (attraction generator). But, u have a point cause he overdid it a bit with nlp and we can see that from the response of the hb. Maybe he should have make it general and not only tight it around the chess
