Of course, I don't know if this is the same way that Mystery does it. There could be a half dozen ways to do levitation tricks and I wouldn't know the difference.

Yeah. Pretty much every levitation trick in the book with small objects uses magician's thread. Ultra fine, nearly invisible thread, stuck to the object with a small piece of wax, and you run the thread in out of the ordinary ways so its not so obvious which hand or body part is directing the movement.

Shame I blew 50 bucks when I was a kid to learn this. WHERE WERE YOU THEN, INTERNET??!! :x
