I searched the forums for a while but I couldn't find anything too great. I'm going to Spain with my family for ten days and was wondering if anybody had good tips on sarging girls who probably don't speak much English. How do you do any routines / amoging / anything at all?

Do you know any Spanish? That is step one. Learn some Spanish openers or phrases. From there you can transition to English because if you are in a large city over there, almost everyone speaks English as well as Spanish. But it is polite to at least try Spanish before you speak English to them. If you need help coming up with Spanish openers, let me know and I will help you out.

I have been to both Madrid and Barcelona. In Madrid you will definitely need to learn some amount of Spanish. I noticed that unlike most major European cities, Madrid didn't cater well to an English speaking backpacker like myself.

In Barcelona, the trick is simply being there! Seriously, if you are in Barcelona and can break away from your family for a night or two you need to stay at the Kabul hostel (Google it for more info). This time of year it will be packed with young travelers from the States, Canada and the EU and it boasts coed rooms (not that rare in Europe). I met a Quebec girl (HB9) there and was able to steal her away to the 3rd floor laundry room for an hour!

Those were the only 2 Spanish cities I was able to visit but Barcelona was overwhelmingly fun!

p.s. Absinthe is legal in Spain so live it up! Also, the laundry room doors don't have locks so be careful!

Damn thanks guys - I wish I could have read these before I went to Spain haha. I ended up trying to open some sets but the language barrier was just too great. On a happy note though, I sarged a girl with her family at the airport haha. She happens to live like ten minutes away from me and we have our day 2 tomorrow
