Hey i was wondering most openers sound stupid and can make you come off as wierd plus its a completely spontaneous question isnt that wierd so i was wondering do they really work?

Some openers i know are
"Do you believe in esp?"

"Are you secure enough to take a sincere compliment?"

"would you date a deaf/blind guy?"
and

"Do you think its wrong to break up with someone thru text msging?"

hey man, im new to this too. i've read so many openers everywhere before trying even one on the field... now that i've tested some, i think the best openers are the one you make because it just fits you right. you already are confident using it... for example, i dont feel confortable at all trying that "would you date a blind guy" one...lol it's just not good to me... as i tried some, i found that i was more confortable with the lie one. "hey, i need and advice on something: could you tell me a good lie?" that works fine so far. there are many variations of it... but now i realize the toughest part isn't the opener really... it's the following!

Remember that Openers are simply a more interest-generating avenue to talk to someone beyond just walking up and saying "Hello."

If you throw out a canned Opener and don't really know how to follow it up, you'll come across as canned. It will sound like a failed line, which is ironic because it IS, and woman can easily pick up on that.

As dilequeno said, the best approach to using Openers is to use ones that you are comfortable with, but equally important: ones that you can follow up genuinely.

yea it just seems they want u to use canned ones so wut r some fundamentals for making an opener

Just think of something that you can say that will get a woman to stop and think for a second... Remember, you can stack openers if they're related, and sometimes it helps.
