Hey Guys,

I decided to go to a party tonight, and I knew a ton of beautiful girls would be there. I decided to go sober so I could test out my sociality with no variables. It's weird, because with me, walking up to a girl and starting to talk to her isn't the worst thing(still a bit nervracking though), but it seemed for me, I didn't talk to any girls because it was awkward to go up to a big group of them and start talking.

At college parties, if a girl isn't in a big group, she's walking towards one, so it just seems awkward to say anything. The girls always seem moving, and it just seems socially weird(even though thats the reason girls are there) to walk up to them.

I'm just really confused, because I know based on my PUA readings, I shouldnt' just walk up and introduce myself and asking her questions about herself etc, but I don't know that i'm at the point to have the confidence to say an opener. I mean i've walked up to girls and said *Hey your not off to a good start, you haven't come up and introduced yourself yet*, but nothing else really works for me right now.

I am ready to get over this, but everytime I try, I psych myself out. I've listened to David Deangelo approach videos on youtube, and I get all pumped up, but when it comes to the action, I just freeze a bit. I can easily carry on conversations with girls, infact, i'm a bit of a natural, but actually APPROACHING a girl I haven't meant is just in a completely new realm for me

Dude, ur pain is felt. Unfortunately, like u may have heard many times before, there are no magic pills or magic words anybody can say to make ur approach anxiety go away. Its a process. The only real advice anybody can give u is just to start small each night. Start by asking one girl if she has the time. Then ask the next girl if she has the time, and then say quick comment like "Thats an interesting hat by the way" You can find comfort in the fact that as soon as u say ur comment, u can walk away bcuz ur just warming up. Do that a few times, then the next girl, ask her for the time and as soon as she starts to look at her watch or her phone, say "Oh, im just kidding, im just starting convo. Its wierd how most ppl walk by each other everyday and never say a word to each other, blah blah blah..." and take it from there, u no, ur a natural, like u said. Hell, ive even had my friend literally physically push me into a set bcuz i was so inside my head i couldnt open my mouth. You've already made the decision to get better with women, or else u wouldnt be on this forum, so theres only one way to do that, which is get in set.
