I go to michigan state and i went to my lab for my science class today and got assigned a group of 3 other people to work with for the rest of the year. Luckily, theres a very good looking girl as one of my partners. She seems to be friends with another guy in the group, but i dont think their dating because they leave at different times and with different people. I took a cocky/funny approach and she laughed at almost everything i said. We actually have a lot in common but how can i pick this girl up without it being too obvious of a pickup attempt? Id really appreciate some input guys....thanks alot

Why does is matter if it's an obvious pickup attempt? Even in indirect game, you are only indirect during the opener, eventually you have to escalate and make your intentions clear. Nothing in life comes without risk. It is your responsibility as a man to escalate the relationship and take the initial risk. There is a chance that she won't say yes, but if you don't at least try then there is 100% chance nothing will happen. Also if you let this friendship linger too long, there is a good chance you could end up in the friend zone.
