You know, you get these gurus acting as if Pick Up is secret knowledge that they're going to impart to you. And then they almost ALWAYS say something to the effect of : "most guys compliment a woman and kiss her ass, but..."

BUT... as time goes on, and I'm talking the last few years, I'm starting to notice that the majority of guys approach and follow something in the form of basic Pick-Up: laying down a challenge, tossing a neg/tease, etc.

Now, I may be losing my mind and having weird halluctinations, but I don't think so. And this has been in my mind for a while, because it's something I just keep and keep noticing.

I get the impression that... we're no longer a minority. That "wussies" are becoming a true rarity. What with shows like the Pick Up Artist, and in bookstores: Mystery Method, The Game.

And DoubleYourDating newsletters are damn near common knowledge it seems.

I'm not going to sit back and pretend like I don't have a problem with this. I do. I don't want to go out 5 years from now and have to compete for a woman with a dozen other men who have honed their skills by that time.

I don't know. Any thoughts?

in my experience going out and being hit on by many differet types...there's nothing to worry about. Yeah, a lot of guys have heard of all this, but there are a LOT of men in the world...most of which have not....and most of which still don't have a clue.

Get over it. For the record, you already have competition... lots of it. It's always been that way, so why are you making a big deal of it now?

Yea ur not alone i've noticed this too rarel do i see a man talking to a woman and saying oh your so beautiful and compliments and even if i do its from someone below an AFC i understand how you feel because this is becoming more and mor common place. But now this is wuts gonna set the Beta's away from the Alpha's since the beginning of time i've noticed that people are always competiting new things become old things such is the wy of the world are only options in my opinon are to either live with it, be better than the others, find new ways and skill or evolve with and/or faster than the rest of the world

Im not worried about competition.
Im more worried about naturals, and not enough women in one specific place.

The competition is only there to make you better then you already are, sure there probabley thousands of guys who have read the game, but reading the game doesnt make you a pick up artist at all.
You have to become more and more knowledgable with PUA literature and you move closer and closer towards the goal of becoming a MPUA.

No average chump who reads the game can get a girl, there is so much work you have to put in to get results. If any guy does however get to the status where he can get girls from just reading the book then props to him because he deserves it.

Its a long road on the journey to becoming a PUA.

Most guys wont stick with it or put the work in to be any good....they might learn how to throw out a few negs and peacock but when it comes down to it being a good pua takes alot of work and is more of a lifestyle then any thing.

I would say 90% of the guy out there who read this stuff spend 99% of their time in front of the computer and only 1% of their time out in the field.

If you go to the bar at any given time you will prob have about 5-10 guys who know what they are doing but you will also have 200 girls in the club....the odds are on your side!

u just gotta step your game up passed the competition. that's just like any sport such as basketball..just cause everybody knows how to shoot and dribble doesnt mean you are good at it, it takes practice day in and day out..only an elite few make it pro. in pick up just cause you have the knowledge doesn't of pick up doesnt mean you are going to be good..it takes practice as well of being out in the field to become an elite pick up artist.

YOU CANT BE AFRAID OF COMPETITION, THERE IS COMPETITION EVERYWHERE.

I believe that with more guys knowing more it is actually completely opposite to what you think..

Truth is men are still low on the Social totem pole compared to their socially superior counter-part.

The fact is that most men completely hash everything and make it harder for anyone to approach..

If women were happier they would be pleased to have more people come up to them... but because most guys are complete tossers.. they are left with a bad taste in their mouth.

If men were better at seduction there would actually be more poon to be had.. and she would sexually be of better quality.

There would be less cheating.. and women wouldn't chase assholes to get sparks.

Great post but in my opinion a paradox thought.

Even if this is the case and more and more men are stepping into this scene...you should take it as an opportunity to hone your game and really see what your strong/weak points are...Maybe you could do more listening in on a few other people's sets and listen for some great material that you can use later on down the road.

Games are meant to be fun and interesting...Well, I would say getting that way!
