If she was hot and you wanted to go for it, just transition into A2, she already took care of A1 for you.

Many times, it's not worth your time to come up with a great response. Just keeping cool as if this happens to you everyday will suffice.

I just go with the 'Thank you' response with a smile and a look that you know you are. I feel if you come up with a C&F response you could come across as arrogant, perhaps even insecure.

Actually, I was at a party at the weekend and had many HBs complimeting me all night saying 'I love your hair', 'you've got great fashion sense', 'you're handsome' yada yada. I just took it in my stride like I get told it often, which I tend to do, , but don't let it go to your head. Don't let it knock you off your stride.

One other girl in the set was quite shocked when one girl complimented me so brashly, but I just accepted the compliment and moved on. Perhaps the girl was expecting me to return the favour, but I didn't. Sometimes an girl with LSE might give out a compliment as they want one in return, I'm not falling for that trick.

Yup. The girl took a great step by being the one to PULL you. I'd say that practically puts you in the A2/A3 area. They key to maintaing your frame is to smile and say thanks, but do it as you think "yeah I know it, and the fact that you recognize that in me makes you cool."
