A few openers that I tried when serging last week that you might like to have a go with.

Setting: Ok, my wing (fellow serger) 'Jackpot' and I hit a typical Lloyds (pub chain in Britain) later in the eve (arriving at about 10:30). This wasn't ideal as most sets were either well dug in or wasted. Straight away we noticed a girl in a bunny outfit (defo HB but peacocking too much - and with effect, so I wasn't feeling up to the challenge, yet').

Operners tried:

My friend and I are have a huge debate... Who lies more, guys or girls. This led nicely into a chat about guys telling small white lies ('no your ass doesn't look too big in that', whereas girls tell huge lies 'it's your kid' etc etc). Opened 3 sets ok'ish but some saw straight through it. 6/10.

I'm going to a costume party next weekend but I'm not too sure what to go as... I want a girls opinion. This was good. Opened up to potential banter and gave some good negging opportunities. 8/10

yeah man some women just see though all the routines its happened to me with same material, but we try and we try and we try again when its your own shit its better your facial expressions are more in sync with your own lines, i wish you luck man, dont wporry i had a shit night on wednesday on my own opened 5 the last 2 just ignored me confidence is so important

hey, i've not been out around here before, its this place any good? i'm meeting some mates in a bit (time constraint) .....

maybe she'll say its ok, you can hopefully start chating for a bit and if it goes well say, i'm going to meet my friends, maybe we can continue this another time.... number close.

works as an opener, i guess the most important thing is how to move the conversation.... maybe notice something about her and say you;d expect to see her somewhere else and maybe neg ???
