Being funny isn't a prerequisite to being a PUA. So yes it is possible.

Humor is a great, easy way to build Comfort, so be aware you are starting at a bit of a disadvantage to avoid being the creepy guy or seeming like a jerk.

The only way I can see someone without great humor can build attraction is by being mysterious.
But even that way some kind of humour once in a while is great.

Do you like to laugh? Can you tell one joke?
If you can answer yes to either then whats the problem, I wasn`t funny till my ex wife payed for the divorce then I became a clown (i can juggle more than 3 balls)

Harold Loydd or other comedians of the silent screen weren`t trying to be funny, but the situation was funny.. Being a PUA I believe is about more than just can you be funny, not all pick up has to have a funny part?

There are many styles in pickup. Actually PUAs are only explaining what guys everywhere more or less are applying all the time.

Have you ever seen a guy who is not fun be good with women? If the andser is yes, then there you have the asnwer to your question.

I get the impression Hypnotica is not fun. He succeds in his way anyway. Maybe other people can recommend other PUAs who use a no-fun style.


On a different note, a lot of the techniques and concepts out there (like banter, c/f) are really recepies for how to be fun in those ways. I don't think you need to have any, or at least much, innate ability to tell jokes.

If telling jokes isn't for you don't worry, there is plenty of other ways to gain the attention. I myself like to tell stories that really bring out the emotions in someone, so if you think you have some exciting stuff in your life I would definitely recommend looking up some tip and tricks on how to form a few good stories. Even if you don't have that many crazy moments, the beauty of storytelling is you can creat a story to DHV. Now for the above mentioned, you do have to learn how to make a joke once in a awhile b/c learning that will not only make you more fun to be around, it will also work into your socail skills and give you the ability to think on your toes, so when it comes time to make a joke, or neg, or DHV, you already are comfortable and won't have many weaknesses.

haha bro dont over think it....being fun and having fun is what girls want to see....if that means being funny then w.e but no you dont need to be funny you just need to show her you are fun. Do fun things with a girl, do random things, get into deep convo about shit that most guys would not....somtimes I will talk about any thing that is on my mind and women find it refreshing.

If you only knew how mach fun i have. Serious guys get dumped.

I believe he said that he wasn't very funny, not that he wasn't fun. He is just saying that he isn't a comedian, and the performer aspects of mystery method seem intimidating to him because it is contrary to his personality.

I suggest you try Juggler's method. In his video he says "I don't like the other styles of pickup because they are based on trying to show a woman how interesting you are. And I frankly am not all that interesting of a person". Juggler's method is conversationally based, rather than mystery's which is based a lot around indirection and routines (because he's a magician and he invented his method while preforming).

Very good advice. don't be mysterious to a bore, and make sure that just because you arn't funny, you are conveying that you're fun.

Are you serious, you dont need to be a comedian to be a pua man. This is about seduction, comfort building, attraction, not about being a comedian. Being cocky\funny can help you out but you dont have to get em rolling to get yourself laid or whatever you want. Ive done lots of pick ups without being funny at all.

If you dont have the personality to crack a joke all the time try to tweak up your personality to where it fits YOUR inner game.
