I have used the cube for a long time and now its gotten to the point where people have had it done to them before. as the game goes mainstream and more people are finding out about the society, i have been focusing on the inner part of my game. really trying to bring out those "natural" qualities. listening to style and mystery talk about belonging to a tribe really got me thinking. my question to the sucessfull pua's in this forum is.... WHAT TRIBE DO YOU BELONG TO. and what tribes are found the most attractive to women? thoughts?????

I thought it was pretty much self-explanatory not to use material directly out of The Game, because it is just about the only aspect of pickup that has become mainstream. I'd be more worried about the damage Mystery's TV show on VH1 will do.

There are other routines you can use if you're not quite ready to use your 'natural game'. Things to not use are:

* C shaped vs U shaped teeth
* Cube
* Best Friends Test
* "Beauty is common" neg. to get her to qualify herself


Pretty much everything else is still safe afaik, but I live in pittsburgh where people don't read. I doubt a bootcamp has ever taken place here, so that's another factor -- it might be harder to use common material in NYC/LA/Vegas.

I'm going to start an "Unsafe Routines" thread in the routines section so people new to pickup know what to stay away from.

ya mech i use all of those already and they work. but in preparing for things like mystery's show i want to learn more on the inner game. the part of the inner game im currently working on is belonging to an attractive tribe.

Although I'm a bit worried about the material going mainstream I look at it like this. Most of the routines revolve around pretty simple principles of social communication. So, simply take routines that work for you and edit the information to make it specific to your game. It will work just as well, but targets will be unlikely to spot any sort of routine. Remember, so called 'routines' are just social scripts, which everyone uses. I mean prior to the game how often would you say very similar things to girls you met? I'm guessing a lot, but you didn't call them routines then? So what's changed? - nothing! Except your new 'routines' are more successful. Just avoid too much totally canned stuff and you'll be fine.

I think MM has alot going for it but there is one thing I despise. His darwinianesque theories on social evolution.
They are all based around a fairly innaccurate idea of pop-anthropology and frankly have little bearing to the society we are today. The tribe has a minute effect on any actions or thinking we may have today.
I mean seriously. Are you telling me that the 'tribe' gene has been passed down through the generations?
No.
Any social anxiety, attempts at being alpha and trouble with women can be traced to this society, today, now. Not some long dead unintelligable ancestors living on some plain ten thousand years ago. You only have to look at other cultures and history to realise that people are not unconciously governed by a tribe mentality. In some ways you could metaphorically relate the 'tribe' to the various social echelons that exist today.
It irritates me how many people believe they must be the silverback of the club. No. You have to be the modern Alpha Male of the club.

good post giacomo. maybe i phrased it wrong or am not understanding you. see i was watching the annihilation method with neal strauss. and he was taking all these afc's jobs and making them sound cool and placing them into a group that women feel attracted to like the rockstar group, a worker at the club group, ect. basicly what im asking is if you had to categorize yourself into a group. what would it be. cuz i think you have to dress and act congruent with the person you are displaying through your personality.

Its the diffrance of being cool and having a mind set that you are intitled to everything and expect nothing less from the people around you and yourself and needing not to depend on silly openers! me and my good friend sarge every weekend! Some girls/guys hate us and alot love us for it! As long as it is WHO YOU ARE its ok! i was running typical opnion opener with 3 set (one was a guy)then went in for guess number from one to ten, then suddenly got totally busted by the guy, he coldly said "Wow did you just read THE GAME.........Gee your a smooth pick up artist" . I turn cold with imbarrasment. Im so worried about the vh1 mystery show, alot of people watch vh1 and the run the show several time through out the week. Is this the end of PUA? Here is the worst part, i heard some grumbling that THE GAME is GOING TO BE MADE INTO A MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! People dont read anymore but they sure ass hell watch TV and movies.

Dude, the idea is to be intriguing. If you want to maximize how intrigued the girl is by you, remain mysterious, eclectic, and uncatagorizable (my made up word for the day). Take elements of your personality from all different walks of life, not from a pre-selected tribe.
