Posts: 66 | | Ok - a friend of mine sent me an email at work with several other names copied in, one of them was an HB8 who I've met a couple of times.
She know's I have a thing for her, and she's hesitant about going on a date with me as I have the same name as her dad whom she lost some years ago - that really surely is just an excuse she told her mate...?
I'm having a problem trying to decide if it would be right for me to mail her on the back of the email, I'm thinking a direct opener would prolly be best.

Emailing her out the blue might look a bit stalkerish.
Maybe try asking her one of those asking a girls opinion on something openers, that way you look like your doing something interesting.
try and get in contact legitimatly that way you don't look sneaky

Posts: 66 | | It's not a case that she's not interested apparently, its a really weird one that I have no idea - my girlfriend (her best mate) tells me she is interested but it's just because I have the same name as her deceased dad. It's bloody weird.
Still - figured that might be the case of coming across stalkerish, just wanted a second opinion.
