ok so i go to this food store maybe once a week, and theres this incredibly attractive and friendly girl who always works the check out register, sometimes i go to her, sometimes i dont

when i go to her to check out shes always full of smiles and friendly and talkative, i dont know if its just me or for everyone

last week when i was there i brought a girl with me, the check out girl started talking to her, started complimenting her shoes and shit (does this mean anything?)

today i went there alone, this is the conversation we had
girl: hi how are you?
me: im very good, and yourself?
girl: im good! do you want me to put your chicken in a separate bag?
me: no its ok you can throw it all together
girl: ok i will do that! im so happy its snowing out
me: yea but its cold!
girl: thats ok, you can always bundle up with layers!
me: thats very true
girl: but now i have to go and clean off my car!
me: its not that bad out it should just take you a few seconds
girl: haha a few freezing seconds!
me: hey...just bundle up and you'll be ok!


said a quick thank you and bye, i paid for my stuff and left
started getting a little nervous towards the end cause i was thinking of how i can close, but i didnt which i regret

anyway...how can i close a girl who works at a food store like that? sometimes theres a huge line so i may only have a few minutes to chat, other times theres no one in line
i see no ring on the finger, i feel like im getting IOIs but i dont know if thats just her attitude..being very friendly. im not sure how to take her nice lil convo with the girl i brought there last week
i guess i can take it as a sort of DHV, showing i have pretty girls around me?

This all depends on a lot of things. Is it a Mom and Pop shop? They often try to get a nice relationship with their costumers so you keep going back there. If its a Corporate Company they often try the same thing but often dont try as hard. Sometings you should notice:

1.) When its busy does she seem to spend more or less time talking to you than the other customers?

2.) Does she talk about different things to you than other people? For instance is she strickly business with other people then talks to random things, like the weather with you.

If you have been going there a lot and she has seen you a lot. I would go with a direct opener. Just make it seem casual (when its not busy) after your done with the transaction just start talking to her, for instance:

"I don't know what it is but every time I come here I just feel like me and you have a connection. What do you think/ thats so odd right??"

actually listen to her and respond with something appropriate. Once you have said those two sentences its all gravy, the ball is in her court and its her move. If she expresses anything similar just ask her when she has her break and if she wants to get coffee with you some day.

ive heard her say hi how are you, did you find everything ok, to people infront of me, ive never paid that much attention, but as far as i know she talks to me a lil bit more. this is just speculation. ive never heard her talk about anything other than the customers shopping experience at the store

ive talked to her more than hi how are you, just twice

Hey i'm stuck with the same issue. I'm obsessed with this little hottie who works at the supermarket. The thing that got me hooked was this huge smile she gave me and I wasn't even at her register.

A few weeks later I went back and lined up at her register but then some guy took over her register. As she was walking past me I gave her a smile and asked her "Hey how are you?" as if I knew her. She was like "Hey I'm good" but it was hell busy cos that was just before christmas so there was no time to chat.
