An important part of going out for me alongside a lil pre-drink is psych-up music. I probably put an hour into making the list, and I'm wondering who else uses music to psych themselves up and what they listen to.

For me, however, I use high energy music and some of my favorites are:
Bitches and Issues by Mindless Self Indulgence
Home for a Rest] by Spirit of the West
Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss by The Bloodhound Gang
Good Times by Finger 11 and
Never Say Never by Queens of the Stone Age

These are just a few I use and I find them all good to get me in a mood to sarge or, at the least, have a good night.

I want to hear what you guys listen to though so post your favs!

I guess it depends on your taste,

Personally for me you cant go wrong with a bit of "Survivor - Eye Of The Tiger" also Cocky from Kid Rock, and erm "Dont Stop Me Now - Queen"

Well thats a few of my favourites but it just depends i guess on my current state of mind, if i am already pumped up, i may listen to other types of music to relax me abit.

Would be interesting to see a list compiled at somepoint incorporating peoples favourites or maybe a vote in order to find the ultimate hot list.

Don't Stop Me Now is an excellent one, I'll always think of Shaun of the Dead when they're beating up the zombie bartender. Haha! Good times.

Uhn Tiss, worst song ever but always gets me in the mood!

Gregor Salto & DJ Chuckie - Toys are nuts

That song gets me totally pumped and in party mood, most americans I met however didn't really like this kinda music, maybe it's just a dutch thing.

Here's some more I'd like to listen to before going out or to some party:
Kraak & Smaak - Squeeze me
Guru Josh - Infinity (and also the Klaas vocal remix)
DJ Chuckie & Naffie - Blow up your speakers
Mauro Picotto - Komodo
Eric Prydz - Call on me
Yelle - Je veux te voir
Cré Sabe 2008 Hardwell Sunset Remix (from the good ol' times in Barca)
Alizee - J'ai pas vingt ans (Benny Benassi Remix, also a Barca Classic)

EDIT: One important one I forgot: Sia - The girl you lost to cocaine (Stonebridge edit)

And for the more laidback hang parties:
MGMT - Time to Pretend
Mark Ronson ft Lily Allen - Oh my god
LeLe - Hard

Surely, the ultimate tune has to be The Prayer by Bloc Party.

"Tonight make me unstoppable and I will charm I will slice I will dazzle them with my wit"
Check it out

I find Uhn Tiss has hilarious lyrics myself.

And I forgot Call on me. Thinking of the video alone should be enough to get any man sarging.

I don't tend to listen to a lot of music before I go out for the night, after all I don't like to set myself up expecting any kind of outcome other than going out for fun and see where the night takes me.
I do however have music for moods, so if I'd pick a song for a little energy for the night, it'd be something with a fast tempo, with a blood pumping energy to it.
I have one particular album that works for me. The Prodigy, "Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned". Go download that now if you don't have it.
Though it may not be one of their best albums, it has a lot going for it when used to pick up your energy. Not only that, but it sounds as if the album was MADE to sarge to. Just listen to the song "girls" and you'll get the idea.
Either that or MSTRKRFT "The Looks". Another great, high energy album that gets you buzzing.
Even if you're not a big electronic fan, give these a try, I guarantee results!

Incidentally, thanks for that "Call On Me" vid.
I forgot how great that was.
50,000 points to the first guy to actually find out who any of those women are and sleep with them.

i just listen to whatever i feel like...
normally i start off with having a few friends over in my apartment with some music in the background, we sit and smoke some hookah, talk shit and have a few drinks...
this puts me in a really great mood and gives me time to get to know and attract the potential pivots that came with
then we head to the line of bars down the road and... well... they get drunk, i get laid

deffo. when i was just getting into PUA a few months ago i would listen to this song on loop before going out. singing along (probably too loud lol) also helped me get in the mood to be outgoing and talkative as well.

more recently i have been really into Dizzee Rascal - Dance with me. it touches on AA, eye contact and the fact that girls dress nice because they want sex too.
