I have that problem.

I have watched the Mystery Method Program DVDs and its kind of genius.
To be honest though its full on challenging 'face your fear' stuff for most guys.

Just ask yourself the following question:
What is the worst case?
If I approach her, will she kill me? no, will she beat me? no, why? will she laugh at me? no, why, she would have to laugh at every male approaching her which would let her appear as some kind of monkey ^^
The worst thing is that she will turn away. If so, you just approach the next set. And if you want, you can leave whenever you want.

realistically, the worst thing that a woman will do is let you know subtlely and/or overtly that she isnt interested.

your mind will obviously play up what could happen, i.e 'omg shell have a violent boyfriend', 'omg shell publically humiliate me' etc etc.

the best way is yes, to just go for it and approach. i started by approaching sales girls who are supposed to be approachable, and ask them which shirt would make me look the most attractive. this is a very easy situation to bail out of without looking stupid, and i fully reccommend it to guys who are scared of approaching.

I had approach anxiety, but it was because I didnt know what to say..until I realized it DOESNT MATTER what you say to open the set/ make the approach, first words are usually forgotten anyways..the actions that you do stand out moreso then anything else.

i just pretend im in a dream and nothing matters, though you cant get to carried away!
