rafiel and russian bear .. both knew alot about this field and were also somewhat the people that kept this section of the forum going. i know the bear left but did rafiel also leave ....

The bear was banned for merely asking a question. He has returned to his sales job and second job of doing hypnotherapy, building a client base, etc. He's doing quite well. He's just waiting for this site to reimburse him the money he spent on the private forum since they can't dare have their authority questioned.

regardless of who was right and who was wrong, which I dont really care about, when an individual joins the forum and their first and only post is to defend someone who was banned recently I cant help but be a wee bit suspicious.

even if he is russian bear, it doesnt matter . i still think they should let the issue go .. both of them return . get rusian his own thread . let bygones be bygones ...

Bear doesn't need his own thread. Never asked for one. Not what he's about. He was only here to contribute, not to have his ego stroked. This used to be an awesome community. He just tried to help, which is what he has always done, that's why he is a hypnotherapist, to help people get over problems.

The reason the NLP section has died down is because people don't understand NLP.

The vast majority of people who show up in here ask a variation of the questions "HEYCAN U TEACH ME NLP? LOLZ" , "dUdE, where cAn i learn NLPz? k thx bye", or even more common "yOz canz youz teachez mez thez Octoberz manz man?"

There are some of us who actually study NLP and understand it quite well.

The feud between the two who have left the forum goes beyond what you see in the threads. It's not my place to go into detail though. All I can say is I stand by the decision made by the staff of this forum.

As for RussianBear, he was NOT always as laid back as he makes himself out to be. While it is true that he was a valuable forum member for the majority of his stay, it wasn't always the case. I got into a couple heated arguments with him, after which he became a productive, valuable forum member. The end of his membership here was quite possibly a repeat of the behaviour he displayed in his early days.

However it seemed they both took what someone says on a forum too personally which never should be done.

You shouldn't even take what people say in real life seriously or personally.

It's a matter of keeping a sane mind.

Back to the point; both had much to contribute, and if they are both gone, it's a shame. However; they should be able to take some resistance, at least since they both have the knowledge they seem to have, within NLP, which should enable them to have all the resources they need to deal with it...

Haha. Thanks for the messages everyone. This is an internet forum, so I don't feel any need to be 'committed' to it as such, now that I no longer serve a dedicated thread. The moment it begins to add negativity into my life, i'm out, just like I blow out a lot of the girls I sarge if they become leeches. Because I play the game in real life, the only time I'm online is to help, learn or write FR/LR's. I personally don't dig the people who game online but hey each unto his own. Nevertheless it would be immature of me to leave on such trival circumstances.

I am very busy this month so will only be posting sparsely, if at all. I've bought a camcorder though so when I'm back I will hopefully give you guys some in-field footage of a few techniques, mainly NLP and some kino tactics like my somewhat infamous 'slap'. I'm not promising anything though because I'm still not warming to having my face recognised online, as it could jepoardize future careers which may be very public careers. PM me if anyone can give me advice on this.

There are probably other people who are well versed in NLP as well on this forum or milling about. So you can learn from them in the meantime.

Links? I've been lurking for a while and I know him well and I cannot recall such things. Moreover, the only thing the man did was answer someone's question then took a hell of a beating in private messages. If you look at the one message he posted from Rafiel, seems that Rafiel is pretty insecure.

The guy writes stuff like :"just like I blow out a lot of the girls I sarge if they become leeches", which in no way captures the essence of neurolinguistic programming, and you take his side? Really?
There are a lot of posts here from RB where he goes out of his way to help others and to assist in their understanding of NLP. Sad you don't like that around here.

On the front page alone, he has caused 3 threads and a really helpful 'ask Rafiel thread' to die from flaming (the only other locked threads in this section that I can find are ones that deal with OMS). Even more suspicious when they have the exact same IP addresses which is only possible if they're from the exact same computer.
