Okay I'm sure a lot of people here have been through this.

Basically i texted a bunch of girls to come out, some texted back, some didn't, that's okay.

the next morning this HB 9.99 texts me that basically she couldn't come because she was at a movie and didn't get my text till late and asked how it went.

my question is that, if she is giving me excuses or giving reasons why she was absent mean that she is trying to comply with me/show that she wants to come but she cant. OR is she just simply being normal and nice ...

maybe I'm just over analyzing but should i text back or should i just not give a shit.

you're making everything a lot more complicated than it is.
she texted you, so reply.
"hey loser! yeah, last night was solid... you missed out. hope your movie wasn't lame..."

that might come off as too cocky, and not funny enough.

Try to tone it down with:
"hey shit happens, try to work your schedule around me though ;] nah, we'll do it some other time"

the we'll do it some other time makes it seem like, 'eh, we may, we may not, i dont really care'

Manna has a great response, but personally...I wouldn't respond.

If she texts me again later or calls to find out more about the night, 'then' I would respond with a cocky/funny comment. If she doesn't, well...i guess she will never know.

I have a few reasons for this approach, but I'm on my way to lunch so I can't get into it now.
