Ok

So My family came to town to visit us for christmas. We went to this restaurant close to my house.
It was me and my dad with the visiting family.
I noticed that we have a cute waitress but to be honest with you guys at first i wasn't thinking about anything. I was just enjoying dinner.
Right after dinner was served she came back to check that everything was ok. I noticed the necklace that she was wearing. It was a black necklace with a shark tooth made of metal.
So i opened:

me: Cool necklace!
her: Thanks i got it at a festival at the local beach. The have it once a year in march.
me: Really?.. Cool i might have to go over there to check it out.

She excused herself to keep working.

It turns out that a friend of mine is one of the managers of the restaurant and he was working there.
He came and seat down for a couple of minutes to say hi and talk to me.

I asked him about the waitress. I just said:
me: Dude what's the deal with this one?
friend: She's ok, Her name is hbshark and she's single.
me: Cool man! she's cute.

That's it. He left to continue working. I kept enjoying my time with my family.

Minutes later he comes back. he says : "here dude"

I'm like : what?

He handed me her phone number.

I didn't know what to say. At first i was thinking. " fuck that's not how i do things". But i didn't tell him to do anything.

It turns out that without my permission he went to the girl and told her that i was asking about her. I totally disagree with this aproach but in this case it was out of my control. Anyway the girl told him that i was cute and she gave him the phone number and told him that i should call her.

So i said. OK. It wasn't the best scenario. But being positive, i would have gotten the phone number anyway. So fuck it.

She said good bye to the table. We all left. I didn't say good bye or anything to her. I just left with the plan of maybe calling her the next day.

This is when the fun started.

I get a voicemail 20 minutes later. It's my friend:

"dude you have to call me as soon as you get this"

I'm like shit! what's going on?.. i didn't know what to think.

So i called him. He call me back later.

HIm: Dude i'm sorry but the girl is fucking pist off.

I'm like : Why?

Him: Your family didn't leave any tip at all for her. and she told me that if you were going to be a cheap ass not to call her.

Keep in mind i wann't the one paying the tab. My aunt was. She's from overseas. Maybe she forgot or she didn't know better. But the fact is that she didn't leave even a dollar for the girl.

I would be pist off too. I've worked in the restaurant business and nobody wants to work for free.

Him: I just wanted to let you know before hand.
Me: Ok.. let me think what to do. Thanks for calling.

Shit i inmediately started to think. So i grabbed my phone and sent her two text messages for lack of space:


Me: Hey shark gril! My friend just called me. Those were friends of the family I totally apologize about that i had no idea.

Me: Let me make it up to you. When do you get out of work tonight? i have plans. u should come with me. Double tip is included


Her: Its ok. It pisses me off cuz i don't work 4 free. U kno what i mean? Your friend never told me your name. Im hbshark

At this time i thought: " hey i can't believe this.. i totally turned this around, she's even asking for my name. so i responded.

Me: Im bluelover and i totally understand. I used to work in the same business. Do you want to meet or you want me to pick you up?


You see!.. she's hasn't even said yes. And i'm already assuming that she's going out with me.

Her: What r u doing 2nite
Me: Im meeting some friends from work. after that it can go different ways. Hit me up when you get out.
Her: I will.

Bullshit i wasn't meeting any friends. I was going out with my brother that night to a local club.

She never called. Her loss. I had a great time with my bro at the club.

The next day (Friday 1-02-09) in the afternoon i proceded to text again:

Me: Something just reminded me of you.
Her: What? ( This ALWAYS gets a response )
Me: I saw a cute little girl wiaht a necklace similar to the one you have. its funny she had dark hair too. I was like " look is mini hbshark".
Her: Haha That's cool.

I waited a couple of hours and i texted:

Me: You missed the party last night. You just lost 2 points for being no fun.
Her: I'm sorry.


Always let her be the one to text last. I punish her for not meeting with me that day so i didn't text anything back until the next day.

Saturday Afternoon( Yesterday)

Me: Hey miss ( i put restaurant's name ). I was working on a secret plan to kidnap u tonite. but i get out of work late. So i changed my plan for tomorrow. are you up for it?

Her: I'm game! I have to work at night but it's ok.
Her again: What do yo want to do?

Me: I'll think of something. what's your schedule?

Her: I'm in at 330 . And i have Mon tues Thurs Fri Off.

I should've been more specific. I was trying to get her schedule for the day. But she gave me the whole week.

Now I was going out at night to a club so i didn't want to wake up early to do something with her. And i only had time until before 3 pm because she had to work at 330. I don't like to be tied down with time. So i texted:

Me: Ummm... i have monday off too. Lets leave it for monday then. I have better plans for that day .

Her: Ok.
Her: Tell me what we r doin! lol

I'm thinking. You don't tell me what to do little girl.

Me: It's a surprise! I'll call you monday afternoon.
Her: Ok Deal.

That's it. Today is sunday. Tomorrow i'll call her late in the afternoon so she spends all day thinking about when i'm going to call her and where i'm going to take her.

I'm just going to take her for a walk. And maybe later, to a nice local karaoke bar where i know the guys at the door ( social proof)
