This is the first time I have been in the field since I started reading about what it takes to be a PUA…. And I really need some help

Same bar as report 1. Stood at a table and a HB8 with her friend HB4 looked at the table and decided not to join. I said “You can share it with us” smiled and gestured to the table. There was a slight hesitation, but they said something that I cannot remember, probably it’s ok or words to that effect and sat down on some seats almost opposite us. The HB4 had her back to us and the HB8 was able to see us. I didn’t notice if see watched us at all though.

That might've been too direct for a bar and someone just starting out. I fond that indirect is the best way to go for bars/newcomers.

You can put all these in one thread. And there's nothing wrong with what you did there. You're casting a wide net. If your subcommunications would have been better, they'd probably have sat down with you.

I take it you talking about body language when you say subcommunication?

If so can you give some examples?
