Maverick was not a dick to Ice Man, was he? Ice Man was trying to AMOG him the frist 3/4ths of the movie. If you remember, right before Mav was throwin down that "loving feeling," Ice got all up in his face... but he played it cool, smiled it off, then scored the fucking TEACHER of all fucking people! I mean of all the dudes who are studs in that flick... who gets the ONE and ONLY smoking hot female???

This trailer is a symbol of badassed-ness at its finest. I could list all the things that are going on here but you should recognize them easily, and if you didn't know.... now you know!

Hahahaha you seem to be confusing movies with reality. A lot of the characters he plays are cool he is not.

In the clip he only gets away with that behaviour because the squirty guy is a prick too. Tom's reaction is totally fake, he's acting. He tries so hard to stay in character, that's why he comes across as weird and creepy all the time. People like him though, there's no accounting for taste.

The Top Gun movie is just a movie he acts in but isn't there a part in the book The Game that describes Tom as being alpha. I don't think he's acting in the clip at all. Looks more like the real Tom than anything else. He was upset at the guys actions and he let him know exactly how he felt.

Ok I know 0 about PU stuff but I think Tom did really well here. Stayed calm but assertive. Did'nt blow up and make a scene. He just calmly told the guy what was what and the squirty guy had no comeback. Tom controlled that situation and came out with the moral highground. Its easy to dislike tom and start going on about his crazy ideas, but if I ever achieve 1000th of his fame and charisma, I'll die a happy and much laid man. The fact is guys can say that girls don't like him and say they would'nt want to sleep with him. But since when did what girls say and what they actually want ever correlate? Of course they would sleep with him, even if they don't like him, they can still say they were with him. Power, attention, social validation, toms got it to the max.

I happen to like the guy....yeah he is a bit crazy with some of his beliefs etc but thats uptp him + he is a really cool guy, always has time for his fans autographs and interviews....sometimes with imature prats as well who want to try and show him up. Im sorry but I dont understand your hostility towards the guy. He is dead famous but doesn't have an ounce of it that has gone to his head in my opinion unlike other A-list actors
