Hey guys.. just got this in from an Australian news website:

Man stabbed 'for wearing nail polish'
From: AAP
July 17, 2006

A 23-year-old man is in a critical condition in a Sydney hospital after allegedly being stabbed for wearing nail polish.

Mark Andrew Townshend, 34, today faced Orange Local Court charged with malicious wounding following an incident that police said happened at a halfway house about 2.30pm (AEST) yesterday.

The alleged victim and Townshend are residents of the halfway house, about 16km from Orange.

The court was told Mr Townshend had stabbed the man in the chest in the kitchen of the home, and said he had done it because the man had been wearing nail polish.

The court was told Townshend had another serious assault matter before the courts that was yet to be finalised.

Magistrate Jeanette Stevenson and defence counsel Andrew Rolfe both said they held concerns for Townshend's mental state.

He was in court for the hearing but was not required to enter a plea.

Ms Stevenson committed Townshend to a hospital for mental assessment.

So for all those Mystery followers... guess you gotta be careful. Infact the victim could of been a PUA.. who knows!

Well, I'd say that most of his problem came from living in a halfway house with convicted felons. Just a guess, though. I mean, more than likely that guy was gonna stab somebody anyway.

I know, I know, I'm replying to my own message, but I wanted to add something before I forgot. I'm a big advocator of nail care. Hands are important tools in conversation, especially when using them for gesturing purposes. I don't necessarily resommend getting them painted, but I do recommend getting a manicure once a month or so (if you're a mechanic-type like me) and keeping them covered with a type of clearcoat polish. It helps keep them clean and healthy, and that little shine draws attention to how well you take care of yourself.

One little point to add to this post, I live in Sydney Australia, which is approximately 200km from Orange. Ive personally been to Orange twice to go to some "Barn Humping" parties, apparently because the people out there are so bored that all they do on the weekend is meet up on a farn and f*ck. I didnt stay long once i saw the cakefaced trailertrash that hangs out at those Parties.

Anyway, my original point was that Orange is a hole, and there are a lot of Yobbos (Australias version of rednecks), mix this with the halfway house environment as Nukez pointed out, which in this case was prob more for Drug addicts not prisoners (nearest prison is a looong ways away), and theyll stab each other over just about anything.

"Hey you lets fight!" "Them's fightin words mate"

keep in mind that this guy wasn't a trained PUA, the stabber was obviously flaunting his AMOG status by making fun of the guy with nail polish. If the guy wanted to get out of the situation in one piece all he need to do was run a little game, AMOG that douche and he won't bother you.
