so i was at the local bar on tuesday, it was basicaly a highschool reunion (lame) i was talking to a girl i knew from school and she introduced me to her bf. then one of her friends who i'd never met before, asked megan (my highschool friend )to introduce her to me.i chated with this girl for about half an hour and we discovered we both love volenteering, she asked me to help with a volenteer thing she was doing i agreed to and got her number. as she was leaving she came up and said to make sure i call her, all good it seems.
i waited a couple of days, due to christmas, then called her up and asked her questions about the Vol work. we talked for a bit and i invited her to see some of my friends play at a local joint. she said she would try to make it out but seemed kinda disinterested. that night (last night) she didnt show.
my question is what do i do now, i've got her number but the only volentering option she mentioned was a month away........ so what now?

I think it depends on what you want out of it. Obviously if your just interested in her for anything more than a friend... which it sounds like you are then, I would leave it a week or two and ask her out on a date, or perhaps you could arrange for your high school friend to organise some drinks for all of you if your not comfortable or it isn't appropriate to flat out ask her out. At least then you'd get another chance to get a vibe and see where you stand.

Or depending how good a friends you are just ask your highschool friend if she is keen on you. (Not sure about this one though) Better check with some other boys...
