Yeah, I'm not a hairy guy, thank God. Though if I was looking to remove chest hair, I wouldn't shave it either. Go for waxing or laser removal, the end result will look a hell of a lot nicer, not to mention last longer or be permanent (if in fact you laser remove it).

I shave and their aren't any rashes or anything... Though, I am not hairy much at all... so there isn't much opportunity for rashes or anything. Now... I leave the treasure trail... but should I continue to leave that?

I got a hairy chest, not overly, but I think it's a matter of a girls own taste. Some loathe it, some love it. I personally would feel like a pussy if I shaved/waxed/trimmed/naired/nads'ed mine, but that's just my opinion. If the girl is really into you, it won't matter to her if your chest is hairy or not. Generally foreign girls from Europe or South America like the chest hair. So far, I haven't had a complaint. I some how end up with women a few years older than me too, because frankly, most younger girls have no idea what they are doing in bed, but they generally like it and some even love playing with it.

Haha thats a bunch of BS. It DOES grow back thicker and longer. First hand experience.

Okay, maybe it does for you, Wolfman. Haha.

Mine is slightly thicker, I guess, but I don't really give it the change to prove it is or not. As soon as there is stubble, it is shaven.

Now, how about the treasure trail, happy trail, whatever you call it. Leave it or shave it?

I think you should do a happy face on your chest like in the 40 year old virgin. If no happy face then just shave it off.

Shaving -- cheap, temporary, requires constant (think daily or every two days) upkeep. Chest stubble feels wierd and looks worse. If your hair is coarse, no amount of shaving will make you totally smooth.

Waxing -- on the order of $50 for your chest. Lasts longer (about 10 days for me), and there are no problems when the hair starts growing again.

Laser Hair Removal -- on the order of $500 for your chest. After a few SPAM (most people say 4-6) you supposedly will never have hair growing back. Obviously this is the best but the most expensive by far.

I'd go with waxing if you're not afraid of a little pain.

I pride myself on being incredibly clean shaven. I fuss over any stubble etc on my chin if I am seeing women and I hate the idea of a hairy body.
After a few shaves I realised ingrown hairs were not fun (perhaps I shaved too close?) And so believe that I should probably start to try waxing. Cept my beautician lady friend moved interstate :(.

The snail trail as people call it round here is supposably manly. But I honestly think it looks repulsive. From a distance maybe not but you get up close and it is bizzare. REMOVE!!!! (in my opinion)

Snail trail.... hahahaha, that is awesome.

Anyone know how to beat in-grown hairs? When I am trimming up the ol' downstairs region, I always seem to get one or two... So I stopped the trimmin' because they look worse than if there is some hair.

Giac, no! The snail trail IS manly!! It's like the yellow brick road to the wizard!!
Lucky for me my chest hair is pretty much non-existent, but I might think about waxing if it was there. Being clean shaven is nice, but girls also like a bit of stuble sometimes, makes you look ragged and manly.

Oh, and the myth on growing back thicker is bullshit. When it's first there, it's the end of the hair which isn't so thick, and a soft end. But when you cut it, it's just the hair that keeps coming up, without the soft end, making it thicker.

Whilst on the topic of hair: Hair downstairs and keeping it tidy. I do it, and it feels nice after a trim. I wouldn't ever shave there cos I've heard it's just irritating, but a trim ever so often is good, and it keeps the ladies happy and more willing to so sucky sucky.

Perhaps. But it also results in rash during make out sessions and cunnilingus.

True. I have twice. Never again.
