what are some that you use as salesman ... from salesman to salesman give me some advise .. what do you say to finish the deal
For me, it's more about attitude than any particular techniques. The same is true, by the way, with pick up. So, when I'm selling, I act as if it is a given that the person is going to do what I want, i.e. buy my product. It's called assuming the sale. That being said, pepper your entire conversation with embedded commands and focus a lot on tonality. In addition to that, use softeners and elicit states. For example,
"I don't know if you can recall the last time you had a pleasant experience buying X..."
"I don't know if" is a softener, the rest elicits the state.
LINK IT TO YOUR PRODUCT!!!!
Exmaples of embedded commands:
"So, if you decided to
buy this car, you can take comfort in knowing that you will have 24 hour roadside assistance for the next three years."
"When you buy this car, you're not just buying this car, you're buying into this dealership and myself. You know the service you will be getting with your investment and that is why you decided to buy here."
It's difficult for me to just come up with stuff off the top of my head. Like I said, it's really about attitude, i.e. confidence.
Oh, and use pauses a lot.
