Just wondering, if you are a guy and have profile on POF, do you often get opened by females? I know that females are getting a LOT of messages daily, how about men?
Whats your experience?

anywhere Ive had a profile, I've had messages, not a huge number tho. Its fair to say in looks, I have limited appeal. rock chicks think im hot, average chicks dont. pof was easily the worst tho and I blame the mechanics of the site.

the amount of people you're unseen-to-before run out in a short amount of time due to that in 50mile radius, especially if u dont live in a major city. the amount of interest from further afield is mimimal at best. cos of difficulties happening upon you by random or finding you. searching is a bit misleading on the options and its easy to end up with the whole world in results. if u offline forget it. I didnt go on there once for 6months and only got 1 message and like a few visible views.

I had a few girls open to me on POF. For the most part the have opened like AFC guys. In that they usually ask me how I am doing. And I usually have to start a conversation from that. Tho there are a couple that actually do read my profile and have ask me a question or made a comment about it when they open to me. I tend to do better with those.
