So i got this girl's number at work yesterday and i barely even know her. It was a quick 2 minute close. So right now is 10:34pm and i texted her at 8:08 pm. but so far there are no replies or anything. I opened with a text that says "I just made you open your phone for no reason...looks like I got you in check =] " what did i do wrong?? Did i open to soon?? What should i do?

Should have called her before texting. She probably doesn't know it's you. Or, she doesn't have text messaging on her phone.

1. She doesn't really want to text you back, because its been a day now.
2. Maybe, just maybe, she honestly forgot.
3. She might've just given you her number as a co-worker thing. To be nice.

i sent her another text at like 12pm askin how she was doing and still no replies.. So i just deleted her from my phone. Theres no point.

that opener was definitly canned (to her)

she did not have enough attraction to you to find your canned opener "witty"

u shud of seen that she was not that attracted to you.

shouldnt of used canned opener, instead be cool with her, and use her for connections (parties, meet her friends, hook ups if she works at a cool place, etc)

dont dwell on it fella, these things happen. dont watse your energy working out why or what motivates women. just learn from it. look back over it with honest eyes and make a note of all the things you did that YOU are not happy with.

def. ditch the canned opener, esp. when it wasnt a club/drunk flirty pick up. a serious daytime work pick up needed a nice opener. for me, I would have gone with something more personal...

but remember this, if she was interested whatever message you sent her would have worked.

so you lost this one in the pick up. not all number closes are good number closes.

if you're gonna learn something from this think through the number close instead, and see where that could have been stronger. v

people are right you are better off deleting the number from your phone now ..... i once got this chicks number at the mall .. actually told her sister i thought her sister is cute .. so she got me her number .. anyways i called her the next day . she picks up says to call her back . call again - no reply .

again - no reply ...

i did around 4-5 tiems .. got my message though .. first of all i didnt build enough attraction and second i should have called her as soon as i got the number and not waited .
