| Last night, I fully intended to do the field testing for this week's SL Labs...The Lint Routine.
Wow, how did I screw that up? I ran the Rings last night instead of the Lint routine!
I know it is because the latest email described the rings routine. I'll either fail this week or make up for it by sarging like a madman tonight.
But, quick FR about the Rings.
Only got to run it once last night. Ricky and I were at a comedy club. Before the show, I decided to open the table next to ours. A 6-set. One was a waitress for the club, who is a good friend of mine, an HB7.5 but a crazy fun girl. She DHVed me to the table. 3 guys, 3 females. I opened an HB7...she looked like a dead ringer for a young Helen Hunt. Ran the Rings. She knew the bit. She didn't call me out but played along.
It was a bizarre show. For some reason, only 16 people showed up. Everyone who did, showed only because of who the comedian was. If Project DC weren't all out of town for the holidaze, we could have doubled the turn out.
The comedian, a friend, saw that though everyone was in the front row, it was spread out. He has us join as a group. I was now sitting beside HBRing.
Since we were a small group, the show turned into a conversation more than a show. He couldn't do his set because he would start, someone would interrupt. It was a lot of fun. It was almost an improv session. My friend can volley almost anything lobbed at him.
He labelled HBRing, "Psycho Lady" because she was needing to be the center of attention. It was actually her birthday.
After the show, They invited us with them and we bounced to a couple bars. By the end of the night, I had only opened one set...her. Opened a few sets on the dance floor. Someone of the group had ADHD because they could not make up their mind where they wanted to go.
Ricky and I bounced out because it was getting late.
