I do'nt know why but she hasn't been picking up today since around 6 (I called her at 4 and said I would call her again later). I even text msged her but she didn't reply, so I don't know whats going on (she's not usually like this). So basically we ended up not havng dinner. How should I react to this? I feel like acting angry kind of puts me in her friend zone, but I should "punish" her somehow, right? How should I react, and what should I do?

b.) you are going to find out she has a perfectly reasonable explanation for her behavior
c.) if 'b.)' doesn't happen say something that implys you are busy, have lots of friends and would like to know in advance before she treats you like a doormat again. Do not accept this type of behavior.
d.) you won't need c, because b is correct.

Don't EVER do this again. You call once, leave your message and be done with it. If she responds, great, if not...you have plenty of other things to do.
Multiple calls and txt messages communicates neediness, weakness....neither one will get you laid.
What you should do now is forget the whole thing and move on. If she contacts you, take mrficke's advice and act unphased...let her make the effort to meet up. _________________ Keep people off-balance and in the dark by never revealing the purpose behind your actions. - Robert Greene

next time you see her, don't mention it...talk about whatever you did instead of having dinner with her (please make it sound good!). it needs to look like you have options!
if you want to punish her then your best bet is to not call her or text her for a while. if she really didn't mean to stand you up she will be wondering why you are ignoring her and choose on her own to make it right with you, once she figures out what is going on.
bottom line: always have something better to do than sit around waiting for a call, don't bank on one girl to make your night! (cause girls are flakey...i should know, i'm the worst!)

And she was studying for an exam... but she could have easily got on facebook to tell me. And the thing about not calling her multiple times is, its not like I just picked her up at a club a few days ago. I've known her from school, just don't hang out with her that much, so I do know her.

I would have called zero times.
Once was enough.
Two puts you in a "ok fuck off" category.

Text her, and ask her what she is going to do to make it up to you. No matter what she says though, that's not good enough...
You: So, you bailed on our dinner plans... I think I'm scarred for life... How are you gonna make this up to me?
Her: Blah Blah Blah...
You: "Is that all??? What else ya got??" Didn't you see the "Scarred for life" thing? I might need therapy ( I don't know, that might be over the top, unless she knows for sure you're joking... but you should bust on her anyway)
And when we finally did go to dinner, tell her she's paying. Say "I was going to pay the last time...Before you flaked out on me... Now it's your turn...LOL"
