I've read The Game by Neil Strauss and found a section where he is about to threesome Hea and Isabel. In this chapter he says, quote:

... Just suggest an innocent t hree-way massage. See what happens." " Sounds like a gamble." I didn't want another disaster, like the Porcelain TwinZ bathtub incident. ...

I've always thought of the porcelain twinz bathtub incident as a famous story in the PUA community, but can anyone tell me the story or maybe link me to something?

its in the game its the two girls he goes to visit because their flight is delayed then ends up in the tub and asks one to wash his back, I think.

Summary of pages 109-113 from Neil Strauss's The Game


Extramask introduces Style to the Porcelain TwinZ, who do a goth burlesque show together and are also well-known band groupies. So Style does the ESP routine and then they teach him some sign language.

"As we talked, I realized they were just ordinary, insecure girls. That's why they'd been so quiet. Most men make the mistake of believing that an attractive woman who doesn't talk to or acknowledge him is a bitch. Most of the time, however, she's just as shy or insecure as the less attractive women he's ignoring--if not more so. What made the Porcelain TwinZ different is that they tried to compensate for their inner plainness with outer ostentatiousness. They were just sweet girls looking for a friend. And now they has found one. As we exchanged numbers, I felt the window open. But I didn't know whether to go for one twin, the other, or both. I couldn't figure out how to separate them, but I didn't know what to do to seduce them simultaneously either. I was stuck. So I excused myself and went to find Sandy..."

Mystery then advises Style to invite himself over to their hotel and go straight to the bathtub, get in the bath, and then invite the girls to scrub your back.

So Style does this. He goes to their hotel and gets in the bath, hesitates, then finally asks them to come scrub his back. One of them comes in and very non-erotically--but rather womanlike-- she scrubbed him. Style didn't know how to transition into sex, so like an AFC, he just said "Um thanks."

At this point, Style gets out and puts his clothes back on. He goes to sit on the bed with them and tries the evolution phase shift. Then he gets them to massage his hands while he talks about their show.

"You know what's funny," one of them said. "We get all our physicality out on stage. We never even touch or hug each other in real life, We're probably more distant than most sisters." They both continued to behave very passively.

Then Style ends up leaving the hotel a complete failure.

Ah wasn't that bad - not really a PUA accident, just rookie style PUA. As long as he doesn't do that later in the book or else we would have been dissapointed with him

But thx a lot for the summery. Can't really remember that part very well, but a nice little one i will think of if it happens to me - would probably make me think that i'm on the edge of becoming as good as Style, hehe
