So I got the number of a real attractive Hooters waitress tonight, BUT now I don't know when I should give this girl a call. Any advice ? I haven't gone on a date in awhile , but on the up side AA is at a all time low after getting rejected by a few times.

Well tomorrow is Wednesday, and according to Tom Leykis (radio talk-show host here in LA 97.1 FM) he says never set a date after Wednesday and DEFINITLY don't answer the phone to any chick during the weekend. Make them think you're busy.
Call her tomorrow (Wednesday) and say "we should hang out this weekend, are you free Friday or is Saturday better?" This way you're not asking IF she can hang out with you, you're asking WHICH day is better (in sales its called the alternate of choice close). Try to avoid asking a "yes" or a "No" question like "are you free Friday." When she picks a day (lets say Friday) say "great I'll call you Friday afternoon.
When Friday rolls around this is how it should go...
You: Hey what time are you eating dinner tonight?
Her: Um, probably around 7pm
You: Great! Lets meet up for drinks around 9pm at xyz bar/club
Her: Sounds great!
This way you've totally skipped out on having to buy her dinner and listening to her blab on and on about who knows what. Its lighter on your pocketbook and you still get the chance to close after she's loosened up with a few drinks.

That's what I was thinking of calling her tomorrow ( Wednesday ) , as for saying I'm free both days I don't think thats the greatest idea. Thanks though.

not that this helps you now... but typically when i talk to a girl for a while, and im getting her number... what i like to do is not really give her an option. i say something like explaining that i already have plans, and to get her number to come along. if you dont really know what you will be doing, then make some nonsense up and when u call her or she calls you, AFTER you meet up, explain they fell through and do something else. (like her for instance)

you guys are making such a big deal about nothing.
it doesn't really matter when you call her, as long as you're confident and interesting while you're on the phone.
i've called and set up a day 2 30 mins after the #close a few times before.
i've also had the same success with waiting a day, 2 days, 3 days, a week... you get the idea.

i have to agree with the "i'm free on both days" thing being a DLV, but you can work around that. ask her what she's getting up to this weekend. sample dialogue:

me: so what you getting up to this weekend?
hb: going out on friday and saturday night with friends blah blah
me: cool. how about we get together for an hour on saturday afternoon, sundowners perhaps? i've got a bit of free time before i have to blah blah

this way you seem busy even if you actually arent.
