Well I went up to Bed Bath and Beyond to get some items on my Christmas list. I had decided because of my busy schedule that this would also be a location for getting some practice approaching. I didn't have any approach anxiety because of the situation. I was looking at some sort of appliance like a waffle maker or some similar piece of junk. I made eye contact with this lady nearby and asked her if she thought the waffle maker would be a good "Dirty Santa" gift. She said she wasn't sure and asked me who it was for so I explained the "Dirty Santa" gift game. We talked about that for a minute (she knew it as "Chinese Christmas", I've also heard it called "Yankee Christmas").

As I thought about this encounter later, I realized that there are so much more advantages to clubs and bars. Even though I was able to engage and hold a conversation there was no sexual tension, etc. and it would be hard to take it past where I was. Which was, a guy asking some girl in the store for gift advice.

By the way, I didn't purchase the waffle maker because it was way more money than I wanted to spend on the gift.

I've seen guys get Single Day Lays, and went from meeting in person in a mall to closing later at home. These things can happen, and you can sexualize the encounter. I agree that night game is a little easier to do this because of the environment though.

Sounds like a pretty good interaction, you just have to further it a bit by trying to bounce her to get something to eat or drink. This is where you can build more comfort with her, but keep in the time constraint since most people are busy during the day.

From there you can extract a solid number close.
