This was mentioned briefly in another thread... (I'm so new I can't post the URL)

I've been weightlifting for over 18 years and Crossfit has got to be one of the most challenging and balanced workouts I've done to date (mixed history: running, rockclimbing, yoga, lifting, hiking). The best part is the "workout of the day" tends to only take 15-20 minutes and its always different so boredom doesn't occur.

You'll probably need to join a gym that has the equipment, but that's not too hard. If you are not an experienced weightlifter (esp. power lifts), take a CLASS first. Form is everything.
