Sup guys, Do i need to set a false time constraint when i open every set? If so Why? From what ive read it seems like it's a must.
Glad you asked. This is something that wasn't orginally a part of our method until Neil Strauss aka Style came up with it. The idea of the false time constraint delivered within the first few minutes of opening the set prevents the people in the set from wondering
"When is this guy going to leave?"
Have you ever been stuck in a conversation you wish you could get out of? I have too. They think that is what this interaction is going to be like. Why? because they do not know you yet. Thus, you deliver the False Time Constraint or FTC and then put their minds at ease. You are making it more socially comfortable for the people in the group.
Hope that explains the "Why" behind false time constraints.
