well i think u guyz misunderstood what the game is for us starters.
for me at least the game is what i do as a hobby.
before thet i would sit befor a computer for hours coding or much worse chatting. i had no reason to go out.
now instead of spending my few free time in fron tof a screen i have a good reason to improve myself in any way possible.
now u say that we are trying to mimic those "gurus"
i dont see them like that. i see them as people giving some ADVICE(and not rules) on how to be a better man(not only a better PUA).
I ll give some examples: Mystery sais "be the leader of the tribe"
well before reading-listening to that i was a follower, knew that, and even worse didnt do anything to change it. Is someone with that attitude more suucessful than someone who folows the above advice?of cource the latter.
DeAngelo said "be cocky and funny"
that is obvious. To get success u have to be social. to be social u have to make people comfortable around u. to do that the best way is to entertain them and make them laugh. and all this must be done without being seen as a clown or sth.
all these are obvios in every mind. but few actually put them into action. having someone instruct them to you makes this stuff official. U want to use it, it was in ur brain fromthe first place, u just didnt know.
now u might say that routines are what u mean.
i say everyone uses routine, they just dont call it that way, the dont have a name for it.
take the cube routine for example.
using it doesnt make u a pua. actually i played such games with friends years before i entered the society.
so dont get fooled by the fancy names we give to this stuff...this is nothing more than a healthy hobby. the problem is when somebody becomes obsessed with this stuff and looses himself in it. That makes no difference though. think of computers for example: a healthy and educational hobby. What about when somebody becomes obsessed. he doesnt go away from the screen whatsoever. Not healthy anymore, no?(i used to be that guy
