You can call this a trick or whatever, but I've found this works. Okay so I met this girl and in my drunk state of mind I couldn't think of her name while adding her to my phone... so I name her "Poopie." But really it came out as "Poopiw." Funny, right? The thing is, I still haven't changed her name in my phone, so whenever she calls/txts, I see "Poopiw." It gives me a chuckle every time because I think about what I was thinking when I put the name in. Having given her a silly name like that has seriously given me a psychological advantage. Whenever she contacts me, i'm already in a goofy/playful mood, and it's easier for me to be cocky/funny, because it's hard to take someone seriously when their name is Poopie!!!

So my "trick" is to give the girl a goofy name.... trust me, it helps!!! haha

and that helps how...?

Could backfire if you get names mixed up and text the wrong girl...

I agree with the author of the original post. Lets take a look from a different angle (this is going on right now with my HB10)

Initially it was her original name. Everytime I was getting a text - I was excited like a puppy going for a walk. My mind instantly associated all the good HONEST feelings with this name therefore instantly making me weaker in the game.

I've changed her original name into "Player" So everytime I was getting a text - my mind instantly transformed into the game state and therefore answers were tight. Funny, they became so tight, so in order not to OVERDO, i have changed the name again into "AVERAGE PLAYER"

Might be helpfull for beginners. In minds of pro-PUAs - the game mind set is a preset.
